Opportunity

Reframed Altave as a more intuitive and scalable monitoring platform, leveraging AI to enhance data interpretation and support faster decision-making in complex operational environments.

Challenges

Low usability and unclear information hierarchy made it difficult to interpret alerts and dashboards. Additionally, the volume of data and alerts increased cognitive load, limiting users’ ability to act quickly and effectively.

Outcomes

Reduced cognitive load and improved speed of interpretation, enabling more efficient decision-making. Established a scalable foundation for integrating intelligent features and evolving the platform into a more proactive system.

Product Strategy

Combined user-centered research with AI-assisted analysis to identify patterns in user behavior and alert relevance. Prioritized clarity, signal over noise, and intelligent filtering to reduce overload and improve decision-making.

Experience Design

Redesigned alerts and dashboards with improved information hierarchy and introduced AI-driven enhancements such as prioritization of critical alerts, contextual grouping, and smarter data visualization for faster scanning.

Role & Contribution

Owned the end-to-end design strategy for an intelligent monitoring platform, orchestrating data-driven experiences across alerts and dashboards.
Leveraged AI to synthesize qualitative research at scale—clustering interviews, uncovering patterns, and translating insights into product decisions.
